About me, Jen
I’m Jen, the designer and maker at Salt & Structure. My work is shaped by two lifelong passions: the sea, where I spend countless hours swimming and architecture, which I practice professionally.
I began learning silversmithing while completing my Master’s in Architecture and quickly noticed the parallels between the two practices—both revolve around design, structure, and craftsmanship, whatever the scale. I must say though, I have a love for metal and gemstones. Who doesn't love bespoke, sparkly treasures?
The ocean continues to be an endless source of inspiration. Having swum the English Channel solo and spent countless hours training in open water, I draw on that time and space to dream up new designs.
Although I enjoy working across disciplines, my current focus is metalsmithing and bespoke work. Thank you for stopping by, I absolutely love sharing my work with you all.
